Navarra D.O.
We are lucky to have a magnificent wine area right next to Rioja, which is Navarra D.O., famous for its variety of Garnacha grapes and for its rosé wines. And it must be said that, in recent years, it has greatly improved its diversity and the quality of its wines.
Despite the proximity, the two zones have completely different wines, and the flexibility of the D.O. gives them a freedom which Rioja does not allow. Therefore, we will find prohibited varieties in Rioja like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, etc. Do you want to know the flavour of a Cabernet Sauvignon, a Merlot or a Syrah in Spain?
We will visit 3 wineries very different from each other to discover their wines. Accompanied by the most traditional Navarra cuisine.
