Visit our cellar

In the village of Villabuena de Álava, known for its history linked to wine and its great wines, we find one of the smallest wineries in Rioja.

A "calado" (underground cellar), from the 17th century, which has always belonged to the family of our favorite winemaker, Francisco (70 years old). There, he makes wines in a traditional and very handmade way. He continues to make wines as his ancestors did 400 years ago, with the difference that his wines go through the barrel.

The visit to the winery is always one of the favorites among our customers, not only for the quality of the wine, but also for the historical and educational visit. With a production per vintage of 1,500 bottles, it is a “boutique” in Rioja.
